Bourg Perfect Binder BB1001

This robust tabletop binder provides quality perfect binding and padding.  The BB1001 utilizes a unique dual spine preparation feature that both ruffs up and scores the spine to produce the highest quality books or pads.  It can bind from 2 sheets to 1½” thick documents in sizes ranging from 2”x 4” to a maximum of 14”x 12”.  The BB1001 features automatic clamping with timed adjustment to deliver professional finished books.  The BB1001 will produce 125 to 200 books per hour.

Bourg Perfect Binder BB2000

A heavy-duty floor model binder that is capable of producing quality cover bound books or padded documents.  The BB2000 offers toolless set-up and can bind from 2 sheets to 2-3/8” thick documents in sizes ranging from 2”x 4.3” to a maximum of 12.6”x 17.7”.  The BB2000 will produce 250 to 350 books per hour.

Bourg Perfect Binder BB3001

The BB3001 features an operator LCD display to monitor and control the full binding cycle, larger glue tank and dual cylinders to provide efficient bonding of sheets and signatures.  It has a “full waste” indicator to alert operator to empty and replace bag.  It can bind from 2 sheets to 1¾” thick documents in sizes ranging from 3½” x 5½” to a maximum of 12½” x 15-1/8”.  A few of the exceptional features are (i) toolless set-up and changeover; (ii) unique shielded design for quiet and safe operation; (iii) the vertical reception 36” motorized conveyor where bound books actually cure on their spine.

Bourg BST-d Suction Collator System

The BST-d collator enables you to utilize multiple finishing solutions within one single system.  The need to change finishing attachments is eliminated.

The BST-d concept is based on 3 different 10 bins towers: the main tower right or left, and the additional tower.  It is expandable with up to 4 additional towers for a maximum of 50 bin capacity. With either the BDF or the SBM4 it produces up to 4,200 set per hour, with paper sizes from 7.85” x 4.5” to 20.5” x 13.75”.

The Main towers BST-d right/left have their own user interface and control the right/left side of the collator system, including the output to finishing accessories located on both sides.  The towers may send their sheets to the left or right side of the collator, based on operator selection made on user interface.  This results in very high flexibility of configuration.

Bourg BST-d+ Suction Collator System

The BSTd+ is operated by a user-friendly Graphical Interface with touch screen.  A simple finger touch on an icon and you activate a job or perform a function.  The BST-d+ allows set transport to two different outputs, according to your finishing needs.  This system can simultaneously produce:

Bourg Signature Booklet Maker SBM4 and SBM4

The SBM4 modular booklet maker consists of 3 different units:  Stitcher, Folder and Trimmer.  This booklet maker features automatic set-up (document size, stitch location) for common paper sizes.  It processes paper through a straight, horizontal and visible paper path.

The SBM4 is provided with a selection of two booklet modes: saddle stitched sets (stitch/fold/trim) and without a folder and trimmer for top/edge/corner stitch applications, using a receiving tray.  A keyboard, located on the stitcher, allows the operator to adjust automatically document size, stitch, fold and trim locations.

The SBM4 can produce up to 4,200 sets per hour, and can handle a mix of stocks to create booklets with prestige covers.

Bourg Document Finisher BDF

This compact booklet maker combines three functions in one self-contained module: stitch, fold, trim (optimized footprint).  Unique in design, this module offers fully automatic set-ups, such as document size, stitching heads adjustment, spacing of the folding rollers, and adjustment of the trimmer.  The BDF is provided with a selection of booklet modes: top/edge/corner and saddle-stitched sets.

The BDF can produce up to 4,200 sets per hour, and can handle a mix of stocks to create booklets with prestige covers.

Bourg Modulen Collators

The Bourg Modulen S Collator expands as your business expands, from 4 to 100 stations, in multiples of two-feed stations.

This flexible vacuum-feed system can handle a variety of stocks, from one-time carbon paper to 16-page signatures, even vinyl and chip-board, and in sheet sizes from 4” x 4” (upon request) to 13.75” x 19.625”.  Because of Bourg’s unique dual head feeding system, any combination of stock weights and size can be run as an intermix.  In-line finishing accessories such as stitcher, folder, book press and trimmer are connected to the modulen by a UT transfer conveyor.

It has high capacity loading stations with up to 33.5” preload capacity.  It produces from 1,500 to 3,200 sets per hour, and each station incorporates a unique double/miss detector.

Bourg Tower & Modulen Finishing Accessories

AGR Automatic Stitcher – a uniquely compact, automatic stitcher that rolls in or out of the production line.  It can be equipped with one or two heads, and provides top or edge or corner or saddle stitching.

PA Automatic Folder – produces booklets with crisp, clean folds.  Automatically synchronizes to the speeds of collator and stitcher, for high-volume output.  Can handle a mix of stocks to create booklets with prestige covers.

BBP Book Press (optional) – utilizes up to 4,400 lbs of pressure to eliminate paper memory for quality folds in a saddle-stitched booklet.  It is modular, and works in conjunction with the Bourg Booklet Maker.

TR Automatic Trimmer – automatically synchronizes to the speeds of collator, stitcher and folder for high volume output.  Minimum set-up adjustments ensure accurate trim.  Built-in container collects the trimmers.

TD Receding Stacker – slide-off dolly table ensures maximum productivity.  Accommodates a full 19” stack of collated material.  Four-caster roll-away dolly makes the moving around of collates sets easy and fast.
